It just happened this way

Male. Detroit. Music. Books. Stuff.

Joseph Arthur- NYC Man   (Lou Reed cover)

Tickets for Paul Weller are 42 dollars (!!!). Is he bringing Bruce and Rick along?? Seems a bit steep. I’m not that big a fan of solo PW to shell that out. Also, the Lions open on Monday Night Football that night so that seals that.

Tickets for the Afghan Whigs are 40 dollars. That seems a bit steep as well. But…..I still may go because not only are the Whigs a great fucking band, but also because Joseph Arthur is opening. He is pretty good, and he just put out an album of Lou Reed covers. Always a plus.

Also, the Buzzcocks (who are playing at the same place as the other two, and musically superior IMHO) cost me a cheap 20 dollars.

Go figure…..

I hope J.J. Abrams, like right after the fucking Star Wars scroll, just shows Jar Jar Binks getting his fucking head blown off, and then they just continue with the movie.
